Christian History Part I:  The Division of Christianity - 500 Years Since the Protestant Formation

On October 31, 1517, a Catholic monk named Martin Luther posted his famous “Ninety-Five Theses” on the door of a church in northern Germany, thus beginning what would become known as the Protestant Reformation. This coming Halloween will mark the 500th anniversary of that watershed event. In this two-part series, Matt Pozen will trace the history of the division of Christianity over the course of the past 500 years, and offer some hope for its future reunion. Each session will include a historical presentation, as well as incorporate prayer, small group discussions, and general Q & A.
